The River House has three lawned areas, two sheltered courtyards and a stunning ceremony location.

There is a 30m x 20m marquee lawn capable of accommodating marquees for up to 200 guests and two smaller lawned areas ideal for lawn games or smaller marquees. 

​

The larger courtyard is an ideal setting for drinks on arrival and can be covered with a marquee if the weather demands so can double up as a fall back option for ceremonies.

There is a wide grassed avenue between the vines ideal for ceremonies with stunning views up to Te Mata Peak.       

 

With huge views down the river and up to the hills beyond you get a great feeling of space and with the all-day Hawkes Bay sunshine the olive and poplar trees provide welcome dappled shade.
